Happy Medium Theatre

Meet HMT’s E-Board

Barbara DiGirolamo (General Manager and Community Relations) is very happy to get back into the theater scene. After being involved in high school she took time off, but never stopped seeing shows and supporting her friends. She received her B.A. from Emmanuel College, and M.Ed. from Suffolk University. Currently she works at Children’s Hospital, where she ultimately hopes to bring some HMT! A special thanks to Gina, Mom, Dad, and Uncle Jim for all their love and support. Stacy, Mike, Lesley, and Audrey, there is nobody i’d rather take on this new endeavor with than you all. Let’s make some magic!

Mikey DiLoreto (Executive Producer)
is an East Boston denizen who haphazardly fell into the lap of acting and has snuggled up there for the past 8 years. Favorite credits include Billy in Aloha, Say The Pretty Girls (Holland Productions), a Phantom in The Rocky Horror Show and Ensemble in Reefer Madness: The Musical (Loki Arts), Joseph in It’s All Relative and Zeke in When The Music Stops (Happy Medium Theatre Company), Eugene Jerome in Brighton Beach Memoirs (Winthrop Playmakers), Norman in Moonchildren (Zero Point Productions), Various Roles in Smoke and Mirrors: The Short Stories of Neil Gaiman (978 Theatre), Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night and Actor Three in The Dining Room (Bad Habit Productions). In college, Mikey was the recipient of an “Outstanding Student Director Award” by the American College Theatre Festival for his production of Adaptation by Elaine May. He wishes to thank his Mom, Dad, and Janis for all their love and support; and Barbara, Stacy, Lesley, and Audrey for joining him on this arduous, yet fruitful journey.

Stacy Fox (Managing Director and Webmaster) received her B.A. in Anthropology from Boston University and is currently pursuing a Master of City Planning. She also works in BU’s Classical Studies department, where her love for drama and its complexity is enriched continuously. Stacy counts herself lucky to share this experience with her closest and most talented friends. She wants to remind everyone that “isolation in creative work is an onerous thing. Better to have negative criticism than nothing at all.” (Chekhov, 1886)

Lesley Anne Moreau (Artistic Director) is a local actress/director/ writer. She wrote and directed All Falls Down at Suffolk University and has had staged readings for two plays Desperation and When the Music Stops. Favorite acting roles include Inspecting Carol (Lorraine/Tiny Tim), Rumors (Cookie), and Passed Hordes (Isabel). Thank you so much to Mike, Barbara, Stacy, and Audrey. Also thanks to Mom, Dad, and the rest of the family and friends for your never ending love and support.

Audrey Lynn Sylvia (Executive Director)
has been in pursuit of a happy medium for the longest time and is thrilled to have finally nailed it. She has recently appeared in Crimes of the Heart (Chick), Smoke & Mirrors, the Short Stories of Neil Gaiman (Ensemble), Inspecting Carol (Dorothy Tree-Hapgood), and The Dinner Party (Mariette Levieux) with Zero Point Productions. Other favorite Boston performances include Pygmalion, with The Longwood Players – and Black Comedy, The Dining Room, Arcadia and Hair at Boston University. Audrey would like to thank Barbara, Lesley, Michael and Stacy for being fellow, tireless ambassadors of the H.M. She also wants to thank Mom, Dad, Brother and Jeffrey for continuously being the method to the madness.
